I ordered Gold for my friend and was worried it would make the nail detail disappear. It does not.
The three-nail construction is clear and the Silver finish looks great. T
The Silver finish suits this design perfectly. It looks like steel nails formed into a cross, while the darker center gives the overlapping pieces enough depth.

This is a much more specific reminder of the crucifixion than the plain crosses. Carries a lot more meaning than the typical Cross necklace
The Gold cross is bold against a white shirt, but the open nail construction stops it from feeling like a heavy block of metal.
The Gold chain and pendant match closely. I do not see the slightly different tones that sometimes happen with plated sets.
