I never really went to church growing up but was always fascinated by The Bible and Jesus. Past attempts to read the actual Bible were challenging. I felt like I needed a person of the cloth there with me to guide me through it because I was completely confused. This takes the Bible and makes it an easy to understand and gripping narrative that I found myself not wanting to put down! The illustrations are beautiful. The “translation” into a more modern version of English was extremely helpful. This was exactly what I was looking for- a fun, easy way to learn about The Bible and Christ! Loved it!
Bought as a gift for my daughter’s first born. He really loves it. The whole book is in comic form, so gives a different way of reading the word.
